Choice Is Important!
We know you have a choice when it comes to who you trust to help you and your pets. Here are some things that set Ear To Tail apart from other choices out there, check it out!
Your behavior consultant, Beth Brown, holds multiple professional certifications that ensure she uses up to date, science based practices and continues to update her education regularly. This means she has many different ways to teach you and your pet to get to your goals, and one will be the right fit for you!
Fear Free Practices
The American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior published a position statement stating that positive reinforcement is the best way to bring about meaningful behavior modification, and punishment leads to unforeseen consequences. At Ear To Tail, we use Fear Free practices to ensure that we follow that position statement and are more likely to have a positive outcome for your pet!
Customized Behavior Plans
Your pet might have a recognizable hurdle to overcome, but that doesn’t mean a cookie cutter solution is ideal for them. At Ear To Tail, we treat every animal as a study of one, and find the right solution for that individual, rather than give you a formulaic training plan.
Let’s be transparent here, we’re going to throw a lot of information at you while we work together. That’s why we use a unique workbook that stores your behavior plan, tracks data, saves any resources we give you, and more! This workbook is a game changer and will help everyone stay organized, focused, and clear throughout the process. Don’t worry, it’s easy to use and we’ll explain everything.
Whether you have a quick question to clarify something, or want to discuss your plan and the methods we use, office hours are always available to package subscribers. Office hours are 5:30-6:30 pm on Thursdays and 4 pm – 5 pm on Sundays (all times are in central time). Show up when you want, don’t show up if you don’t need it, the choice is yours!
